The Courtauld Institute of Art recognises that its activities have an impact upon the environment at the local, regional, national and global levels and acknowledges a responsibility for the protection of the environment and the health of its members, visitors and the community.

The Institute accepts the responsibility for the implementation of the Environmental Policy and environmental related issues will be reported to the Governing Board through the Health and Safety Committee's annual report to the Estates Committee.
