We are able to house about 80 students who apply for accommodation (40 postgraduates and 40 undergraduates), and international and first year BA students are given priority.
Courtauld Accommodation
We offer rooms in historic Duchy House on the Strand, just 50 metres from Somerset House, as well as a small number of rooms at the University of London Intercollegiate Halls.
The Courtauld's own recently refurbished residence is located about 50 metres from Somerset House, on the corner of the Strand and Lancaster Place
The Courtauld is allocated a small number of rooms in the University of London's intercollegiate halls, most of which are located in Bloomsbury, approximately 20 minutes' walk from Somerset House.
Applying
Students who have firmly accepted an offer for a course at least one academic year in duration will receive an application form for the accommodation we offer, as well as information about external organisations offering accommodations.
Students with a partner and/or children
Students wanting family accommodation should submit a separate application directly to the University of London Intercollegiate Halls, as a small number of family rooms are available. If you are a postgraduate, you can also apply for a family room at Goodenough College.
