This exhibition invited viewers to re-examine still life painting in the context of arts changing relationship with the visible world. Ideas about perception and reality, truth to nature and artistic self-expression were discussed in the context of a wide range of paintings and watercolours, including works by Monet, Cézanne, Signac and Oskar Kokoschka.
