Winifred gill's prints and toy designs
18 June – 20 September 2009
This display presented rarely seen works on paper by Winfred Gill (1891–1981), the unsung heroine of the Omega Workshops. As well as producing designs for the collaborative, she also played a key role in running the Workshops.
A selection of Gill’s imaginative toy designs, including enchanting dancers and lively musicians, were shown alongside a group of newly acquired prints and demonstrate her boldly expressive style.
