This year we have advertised a new, more vocational, twelve
month MA programme for the 2007-8 academic year, and are delighted
to have had a very strong pool of applications. Curating the Art
Museum will
bring together the unique strengths of the Courtauld as a gallery
with a world-class collection and as a centre for teaching and
research with a world-class faculty. Its aim is to produce curators
capable of art historical research at the highest level, trained
in the practical skills of curatorship and ready to take on the
developing challenges of art museums and galleries in the public
sphere.
