Each of these Tuesday evening lectures lasts for one hour and is followed by an informal drinks reception. The series combines cutting-edge art-historical thinking with an accessible delivery; lectures are suitable for a general audience. Each term investigates a theme of fundamental art-historical importance from a variety of perspectives and across different historical periods and geographical regions. The talks are given by members of Courtauld staff and by associated eminent guest lecturers.
