This year, five pairs of Research Associates, each composed of a graduate student from the department of Conservation and Technology and one studying art history, are investigating paintings from The Courtauld Gallery in advance of conservation treatment. Three of them will introduce the issues and report the initial findings of their technical and art historical examination. The 20-minute presentations will be followed by a short discussion. A second presentation in the summer term will present the developments and results of their Courtauld Collection project.
