Terra Foundation for American Art research Travel Grants



Doctoral and Postdoctoral Research Travel Grants to the United States
(Accepting Applications Now From Candidates Worldwide)

Six to nine grants are awarded annually to doctoral students and postdoctoral scholars outside the United States to travel to the United States for research on pre-1980 American art and visual culture. Doctoral students receive up to $6,000; postdoctoral scholars (those who received their degree within ten years of the application deadline) receive up to $9,000.
