12 million people in the UK own shares, with a combined value of £200 billion. If only a tiny fraction of these shares were donated to charity, imagine what a difference it could make.

The Courtauld Institute of Art welcomes share gifts of any size and donating your shares to The Courtauld is one of the most tax-effective ways to support us. Normally, you won’t have to pay any capital gains tax on the shares you donate and you should also be able to claim income tax relief.
