The visual arts are extremely important and enhance all our lives in many ways.  The study of art history … is one of the broadest and most fascinating subjects and students graduate with a greater understanding of our modern world no matter which century they focus on…  It is for these reasons and many more that I choose to support The Courtauld and to work for its continuing success and secured future

Debby Brice, Major Donor and Vice Chair of the Campaign for The Courtauld

There are many ways in which major donors can become involved in the life of the Courtauld whether your interest lies is in supporting students, our libraries and resources, the gallery, exhibitions, the teaching staff, research or conservation – and depending on the level of the gift being considered.

The Courtauld receives 35% from the government, 34% in private donations, 20% from tuition fees, and 11% from other income sources.  Therefore, significant philanthropic annual gifts and gifts of endowment are critical to our future financial security.

On becoming a major donor you join a welcoming group of likeminded individuals and enthusiasts, and open the door to discover more about the fascinating world of art history.

We would be delighted to tell you more about the major gift opportunities at the Courtauld.   If you are considering a major gift we recommend that this is discussed with The Courtauld to ensure that both your gift intentions and The Courtauld’s needs are met.  Your enquiry is confidential and of course places you under no obligation.
