The Courtauld Gallery is temporarily closed for a major transformation project, Courtauld Connects, which will restore the historic building, improve access and create a dedicated Learning Centre for schools, families and community groups.

During the renovation, we continue to deliver a lively outreach programme of workshops, delivered directly in schools. These workshops explore a combination of art history and practical art-based approaches.

Primary Outreach Workshops

These interactive and exploratory workshops, led by a specialist educator, will introduce key works from the Courtauld Gallery Collection and encourage looking, recording, questioning and responding to visual culture. Students will be introduced to a variety of drawing techniques to develop their skills as young artists. Many of our themes foster cross-curricular learning.

If you have any queries about our workshops or making a booking, please contact us at education@courtauld.ac.uk or 0203 947 7589.
